STEP ONE

Mandatory Procedures for Newly Admitted & Incoming International Students (New Visa Holders)

All newly enrolled students and returning students who have entered China with a new visa must complete the following two compulsory procedures within the specified time frames.

Venue: Houdelou 608, International Students’ Office

Residence Registration (Within 24 Hours of Entry)

Entry Medical Examination (Within 48 Hours of Entry)

Bedroom allocation upon arrival

Documents to bring (typical):

l Original passport

l Copies of the passport and the latest/newest visa, and the latest entry port stamp page

l Two recent passport-sized color photos (approx. 4.8 cm × 3.3 cm)

Consequences of Non-Compliance:

Ø This may lead to an inability to enroll, loss of student status, or even legal penalties for unlawful residence (including fines and possible deportation).

Ø Please treat these procedures as your top priority immediately upon arrival.

STEP TWO
Scheme for New Students Enrollment

Time: 2:00-5:30 pm on working days’ Afternoon (REMINDER FOR SUMMER VACATION 2026-bw西汉姆联中文)

Venue: International Students’ Center (ISC) (HoudeLou 605)

Procedure: 

1. Admission Interview at the first arriving Working day by Vice Dean

2. Verification of tuition & accommodation fee and Purchase of Insurance

Verification of the original admission documents

Information Filling of the STUDENT'S REGISTRATION MEMO

4. After one week Claim for the Medical Examination Report

Visa/RP documents ready: Application Letter, Appointment Letter, Residence Registration, Medical Examination Report, JW 202 Form, Admission Letter, Passport and copy of passport & visa

5. In-Person Submission: Applicants must visit the local Exit-Entry Administration Bureau in person.

6. Claim for RP/Visa in one week, have it photocopy and archive at ISC as the graduation document.

Notes about data file format and size:

· PDFs are the strongly preferred format accepted by the FIS Portal system. Image files (i.e., JPEG, TIFF, PNG) may be uploaded but are highly not recommended. Image files in the .pdf format, Word documents and Excel files are not acceptable.

· Limit file size to no more than 1 MB per document but at a high enough resolution that images are discernable and text is legible.

· Opening and completing and submitting the materials and e-forms on a laptop or desktop computer is best. The documents and E-Forms are not optimized for smartphones.

· The FIS portal generally works best on Chrome, MS Edge, Firefox, and Safari. However, web browsers are not always without flaws. If you run into an error please try clearing your browser cache, using a different browser, or saving a draft of your work and notifying us at https://www.knldub.com.

· You may take pictures of your documents using your phone, but please make sure that the image is both legible and fits into the frame of the picture.
