A Key Reminder for the Fall Semester 2026

Dear International Students,

Welcome back! Please review the important points below for a smooth start to the Fall Semester.

Key Dates to Remember

1. New Students – Mandatory Steps

• Residence registration: Within 24 hours of entry
  

• Entry medical exam: Within 48 hours of entry

• Bedroom allocation upon fee clearance.

• One-Stop Enrollment: ISC (Houdelou 605), weekdays 2:00–5:30 pm

2. Jiangxi Provincial Government Scholarship (JXGS)

Eligibility: 2021 batch onward

Award: RMB 20,000 (27 awardees)

Requirement: HSK 4+ and good conduct

Deadline: 15 September 2026

Submit: Physical copies to Room 604 + scanned copies to alumni@jju.edu.cn

3. HSK Test & Make-up Exams

Final HSK 2.0 test: 13 September 2026

Registration deadline: 3 September 2026

Register at www.chinesetest.cn

Make-up exams (offline) for failed students in early September

4. Student Status Cancellation (2021 BDS & earlier)

Extension option: 2-year extension available

Fee deadline: 15 July 2026

Extension application deadline: 25 August 2026

If not completed by 25 August 2026, student status will be canceled.

5. Campus Rules (Quick Summary)

• No cooking or smoking on campus

• Zero tolerance for bullying

• Return to dorm by 11 PM; no overnight stays without permission

6. Tuition Fees

Pay all fees for 2026–2027 before 25 August 2026

Late payment may lead to visa/Student Status cancellation from 30 September 2026

7. Attendance Policy

Missing 1/3 or more of total class hours = not allowed to take the final exam

8. Safety & Conduct

• No swimming in unsafe waters

• Follow traffic rules; wear a helmet on bikes

• Avoid scams, illegal loans, and overstaying visas

• No paid work without authorization

Return by 4 September 2026

Classes start: 7 Sept (old) / 14 Sept (new)
